Toulouse-Blagnac Airport's ambition is to figure as one of the most referenced regional airports accross Europe in terms of management, quality and sustainable development in order to perform well on both an economical and operational scale.
In light of mounting competition between means of transport and regional airports, Toulouse? Blagnac's future development plans are based on five main strategic areas:
Developing the air network
- Improving point to point transport in France and Europe
- Increasing the number of low-fare airlines at the airport
- Continuing to extend incoming and outgoing charter flights
- Seizing every opportunity to introduce direct intercontinental flights and develop links to European hubs
- Creating a hub to the Iberian Peninsula and North Africa
- Developing express freight and "all cargo" flights to meet the specific requirements of local companies
Creating a quality-oriented customer relationship
- Setting up services to meet customer needs for each segment
- Developing services offered together with contractors and all airport partners
- Improving the quality of services available and constantly monitoring user expectations
Optimising and developing airport facilities
- Making sure that infrastructures are adapted to the growing traffic – in terms of both quantity and quality by choosing the most cost effective solutions
Pursuing a sustainable development policy
- Incorporating respect for the environment into development choices and chosen management methods
- Strengthening the integrated Quality Security Safety Environment system: obtaining ISO 9001, ISO 14 001 and OHSAS 18 001 certification
Ensuring an optimum operating mode
- Becoming strongly proactive and managing each project by controlling costs, deadlines and quality
- Searching for the most profitable solutions for each activity sector
- Looking more closely at each Department's indicators
