In the run-up to the opening of the Halle de la Machine in Montaudran, Toulouse is preparing to let two mechanical giants loose onto its streets from 1st to 4th November 2018. The show is created and staged by the compagnie de la Machine: “Le gardien du temple” promises to be quite simply gigantic.
With 300,000 to 500,000 spectators expected, the “Le gardien du Temple” show will be a landmark event in 2018 for the city of Toulouse. This show will feature 2 mechanical giants who will wander through the streets of Toulouse from 1st to 4th November 2018. Inspired by the story of the Minotaur and the Centaur, the main creature made of steel, wood and leather will stand 14m high and the spectators will be able to see it breathe and blow water and fire. A second giant creature will accompany the first for an exceptional spectacle.
This event was commissioned by the Toulouse municipality and takes place one week before the public opening of the Halle de la Machine, which will be home to the two creatures and 150 other mechanical machines.
