Euro 2016 will be creating a buzz in Toulouse

Friday, 25 March, 2016

In June, Toulouse will be hosting some of the Euro 2016 matches.  The airport is preparing for an additional 40,000 passengers, who will be coming from all over Europe to support their teams during this exceptional event.

Toulouse will host three pool matches—Monday 13 June at 3 p.m., group D (Spain-Czech Republic); Friday 17 June at 3 p.m., group E (Sweden-Italy); and Monday 20 June at 9 p.m., group B (Wales-Russia)—as well as a round-of-16 match on Sunday 26 June at 9 p.m. This match will be a face-off between the winner of group F (Portugal, Iceland, Hungary and Austria) and the runner-up of group E (Belgium, Ireland, Sweden and Italy). A Fan Zone with a giant screen will be set up in the centre of town (allées Jules Guesde) so that everyone can watch these matches, as well as those of the French national team. The airport will be decked out in the colours of the sporting event and will be giving a special welcome to fans to help ensure a seamless and direct transfer to the stadium.
