Ryanair poised to hit it big after the summer break in Toulouse

Friday, 8 July, 2016

With its top seven routes from Toulouse and over 600,000 seats on offer per year, the Irish company is set to make a splash with its arrival in the Pink City. Great news for passengers from Toulouse who will be able to explore destinations (some for the very first time) from November onwards, at very low prices.

Though Ryanair’s arrival in the Toulouse-Blagnac airport was announced for late October in the Winter schedule, some  flights will be operated as early as 2 September! This is an auspicious step forward for the popular low-cost airline, especially due to successful sales on its Berlin route.

Apart from the German capital, which will be served four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Sunday), Ryanair will also operate flights to Brussels (Charleroi airport) with one flight a day, Fez with two flights a week (Tuesday and Thursday), London (Stansted airport) with one flight a day, Madrid with two flights daily, Malta with two flights a week (Thursday and Sunday) and Warsaw with two flights a week (Wednesday and Sunday). All flights will be operated with 189-seater Boeing 737-800 aircraft.

By establishing a new base in Toulouse, Europe's leading airline (105 million passengers in 2015) intends to develop in a new major airport in southern France. The opening of this route will create 450 direct and indirect jobs.
