Unaccompanied minors
Children from 4 to 12 years
As long as children do not have a major handicap, they may travel alone as an Unaccompanied Minor (UM).
All scheduled flights from Toulouse provide a free unaccompanied minor (UM) service.
At the departure airport, during child check-in procedures, the child will be handed a special UM envelope which he must keep with him during the journey.
This contains the child's flight ticket, identity documents (an identity card with photo for national flights and a passport or identity card with prefectoral authorisation to leave the area for international flights), parental authorisation and an identification sheet containing the details of the person collecting the child at the arrival airport. It is essential that this person present their passport (or some other form of ID) when collecting the child.
2 UM areas are available in the terminal on the Arrivals level (ground floor): 1 in Hall A and 1 in Hall B.
Check in
UM passengers must check in up to 45 minutes before departure (for internal flights) and 1 hour before departure (for international flights).
Children over 12 years
The airline is not legally responsible for children travelling alone over 12 years of age. However it will endeavour to assist these children in the event of any problems.
Children of 15 or over must have a valid form of identification or their own passport.
