Formalities and luggage
For your trip with Smartwings, each passenger (including kids) must carry a complete set of travel documents:
Boarding pass
- A valid ID : national ID card or passport, and possibly a visa depending on your final destination.
- Health documents: up-to-date vaccinations, prescriptions, and any necessary authorizations if undergoing treatment or traveling with special equipment.

The cabin bag's dimensions are 55x40x23 cm and a weight of up to 8 kg, or a musical instrument no more than 8 kg, with a maximum length of 90 cm, width of 35 cm, and depth of 20 cm, including the case.
Cabin baggage and small personal items that exceed the allowed quantity, size, and/or weight will be transported as checked baggage for a fee, in accordance with the carrier's price list, and placed in the aircraft hold.
If, unfortunately, your baggage is lost or damaged during your flight with Smartwings, it is the responsibility of the airline, as the final carrier. You can then contact the baggage service, which is usually handled by a ground handling agent. Smartwings has outsourced this service to the following agent:

Smartwings does not offer a loyalty program or free Premium access to the fast-track security lane or to the Croix du Sud lounge at Toulouse Airport. However, you can still access the lounge, located in the boarding area, by paying an entry fee.
Are you a senior or a passenger with reduced mobility and need special assistance during your flight or at the airport?
- Please inform Smartwings or your travel agent of your needs when booking your flight, and no later than 48 hours before your departure.
- Arrive at least 2 hours before your flight’s departure.
- Assistance will be provided either at your check-in counter or directly at the Special Assistance Desk for Persons with Reduced Mobility (1st floor, Hall C).
- Please note: Wheelchairs are available for self-service at the Special Assistance Desk for Persons with Reduced Mobility, as well as call stations.
Unaccompanied Minors
- For children aged 6 to 11 traveling without an adult, please request the "Unaccompanied Minor" (UMNR) assistance service.
- Smartwings does not automatically provide this service. It is not available for children under 6 years old, who must always be accompanied by an adult.
- The service must be booked no later than 48 hours before departure. To book, please contact the ticket seller or our contact center.
- The service fee is 2,500 CZK per journey.
- If the flight is part of a package holiday, please book this service through your travel agency.
